PLUM Welcomes Keith Yamashita
Mr. Yamashita brings close to 10 years of commercial real estate underwriting experience to his role, which will also focus on process innovation and change management. Prior to joining PLUM, Mr. Yamashita served as Director of Acquisitions at American Healthcare Investors, where his responsibilities involved executing over $1.6 BN in transactions on behalf of public-non traded REIT vehicles including M&A transactions, medical office, senior housing, and skilled nursing acquisitions. Mr. Yamashita also managed technology initiatives and process improvements across the organization.
Mr. Yamashita’s experience began in commercial real estate appraisal at Integra Realty Resources, Inc., where he specialized in self-storage property valuations. Keith was a member of the investor reporting team at CBRE Global Investors where he focused on reporting, portfolio management, and investor relations for over $20 BN in AUM. This included value-add and opportunistic commingled funds, development funds, debt funds, and separate accounts across the US and internationally for all major property types.
Keith holds a B.S in Public Policy, Management and Planning with a concentration in Real Estate Development from USC.
